“Everything negative — pressure, challenges — it’s all an opportunity for me to rise.” — Kobe Bryant

The past few days have been quite challenging as the world mourns the loss of the basketball legend, Kobe Bryant, his daughter GiGi and the other victims who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash. Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to their families and friends.

This quote is very powerful and is an awesome message. Kobe has definitely left us with some gems. His words of motivation and encouragement is something that will resonate and impact others for a lifetime.

Knowing that your struggles and challenges can serve as a boost and surge of power to push you and help move you forward is so important.

I have decided not to let any energy go to waste, whether positive or negative. Applauds, recognition, job well dones, congratulations, etc are positive energy that all feel good and keeps us going and reaching our goals.

Yet the great challenge lies in what you do with the negative feedback, being told no, being overlooked. The moments that do not feel so great. These are not the times to give up or take your feet off the gas, but the time to be motivated even the more and push harder.

I challenge you to turn your negatives to positives by continuing to believe in yourself and never let up on your dreams and aspirations. God has designed us to rise above our hardships and set backs!

You CAN do this! You were MADE for this exact moment. Rise and Shine!!
